You might be a bit confused by the term ‘product matching’, or ‘product mapping’ (same thing). If you’ve looked into competitor price monitoring at any length, you would have noticed this term get used.
It is simply a different way of displaying results, and allows for easier analysis. We offer both a matched and unmatched service. All of our customers have the ability to use our product matching functionality at no extra cost.

This shows an account that has no matched products. As you can see, results are grouped together by site. So you can view all price changes, as well as new and removed products, but in order to cross-reference these products with identical ones on your site and competitor’s sites you would have to drill into each of those sites separately.
This image shows an account that has matched their products. All identical products are matched up across the board, meaning you can analyse each product across all sites at the same time. It makes your life a lot easier, and helps you get more from the tool.
