Competitor Monitor is a business intelligence company which helps the world’s leading companies stay competitive. Our amazing team, based around the world, manages e-commerce intelligence services to improve our client’s products, pricing, promotions and perceptions.
To support our growing business, we seek a Client Success Manager with a passion for technology. This is a remote role, but we are headquartered near Newcastle upon Tyne and an element of travel may be required for training and other meetings.
So, what will you be doing?
This is a varied and challenging role. The following are the key areas that you will be involved in:
- Help with account implementation, problem resolution and feature development.
- Educate our customers, demonstrating best practices through the use of data and insights.
- Manage customers relationships, focusing on adoption, retention. We want our clients to love our solution just as much as we do.
- Troubleshoot issues using existing processes and logical thinking, providing timely solutions.
- Collaborate with our programming and quality teams to deliver timely solutions.
- Research methods and technologies to help to enhance the existing products.
- Creating specifications for our programming team to guide them on client requirements.
Who would be a great fit?
You're aware of e-commerce's growing importance and are comfortable working online. The following qualities will be beneficial for this role:
- You will be technically minded, enjoying the challenge of technical subjects and working on a platform with millions of data points.
- Although you understand and pick up technical skills quickly, you are also confident with people and relish the thought of meaningful client and co-worker conversations.
- You thrive on the challenge of providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Excel in a multitasking environment and can adjust priorities on-the-fly
- Fantastic planning and organisational skills and are self-motivated to work independently.
- Ability to communicate complex and technical ideas in a straightforward way.
- Commercially minded you will enjoy spotting and maximising opportunity within client data to help them to be successful
Requirements:
- A fast, stable internet connection is essential due to the nature of the work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
- Confident with using web conference platforms for internal and external communications.
- Experience in customer service and a keen understanding of technology are important.
What do we offer?
- A salary of £22-24k, dependent on skills and experience.
- We offer 30 holiday days a year, which includes any bank holidays.
